  • Phillips Screwdriver #000 + point used to remove screws which secure various metal brackets and inside components.
  • Pentalobe Screwdriver - 5-star point, used to remove the two Pentalobe screws located at the bottom of the phone on each side of charging port.
  • Flathead Screwdriver - used for iPad and iPod repairs
  • (2) Blue Plastic Pry Tools - used to open housing and disconnect various flex cable connectors. This is the safest tool that will not damage device. May break if too much pressure applied. Won't last for more than 1-2 repairs due to nature of material. (Professionals may use metal, but not recommended. Credit card or playing card can we used to)
  • (2) Picks - Looks like a guitar pick. Used to separate the screen housing from frame . The pick is inserted in the opening between the housing and back cover and used to remove the adhesive which holds the device together.
  • Suction Cup - used in conjunction with a pick, pry tool or credit card to open housing. Placed on screen to create leverage to pull LCD assembly from frame.
  • Cleaning Cloth - keep screen clean from fingerprints.
